Gut Healing Hot Cocoa

Gut Healing Hot Cocoa

Let’s be honest here…chocolate anything signs us right up! Take me back to my childhood where I had hot cocoa every night before bed during the winter season. A nice warm blanket, watching a movie with a nice warm cup of hot cocoa. The only downfall about that was that the hot cocoa I was drinking back then was filled with sugar and other processed foods that makes me cringe thinking about how I used to drink it EVERY night. Thankfully times have changed, and I now drink hot cocoa with gut healing ingredients. Let’s jump into how to make the best hut healing hot cocoa out there!

Like I said, this is something I love to have nightly. It just is a great way for me the end my night with a little sweet treat that helps my sweet tooth cravings. It’s something that will keep this nursing mama’s belly full during the night since it is packed full of broth, whole milk, and collagen.

I would also say that this taste so much better than the store-bought hot cocoa. This is more creamy, more chocolatey, and more nutrient dense. Enjoy this at the beginning of the day, middle of the day, or the end of your day. Either way it will bring BRIGHTNESS to your day!

What you’ll need to make this gut healing hot cocoa

This is a pretty simple dump and cook hot cocoa. I like to put it in a saucepan and let it warm up in there.

For the bone broth and the milk…some people like more milk and less broth and some people like more broth and less milk. You can simply do 1/2 cup of broth and 1 cup of milk or you can do 1 cup of broth and 1/2 cup of milk. Either way, you are still getting the great benefits!

Mix together and serve!
