Natural Gut Healing Gummies

Natural Gut Healing Gummies

The goal this winter is to keep our littles healthy and happy so that they can do all the gatherings that tend to happen at the end of the year. With that being said I have found the best natural, gut healing gummy that your kids will DIE FOR. Literally, mine think these are fruit snacks and I use it as a bribe for when a chore is needing to be done!

Natural Gut Healing Gummies

I have healthy version of things and when I came across a recipe that was homemade fruit snacks, I thought to myself, why can’t I make a fruit snack that is gut healing and that can benefit us during these colder months?

To keep the immune system healthy, we have to start with our gut health. 70% of your immune system is located in your gut. With that being said, what you eat and what goes through your gut is crucial to keeping your immune system healthy this winter.

Ingredients

This is a THREE ingredient recipe. It is so simple and yet so nutrient dense! Listed below I have the three ingredients along with the benefits of the three ingredients.

Natural Gut Healing Gummies
  • PERFECT Gelatin: Improves skin health, supports joint health, lowers inflammation, promotes younger, firmer skin, improves gut function and digestion, helps to build and restore muscles, supports healthy metabolism, promotes healthy brain function, helps you sleep deeper.
  • Maple Syrup or Raw Honey: Protective effects for the respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, and nervous systems, and even has potential in cancer treatment.
  • 32 oz of organic orange juice: Contains vitamin C, contains antioxidants, prevents kidney stones, improves heart health, improves vision.

See recipe card for quantities.

Place in the fridge for 1-2 hours. Then take out and pop out of the molds or cut into cubes and enjoy!

Hint:

  • When searching for juice, make sure that the only ingredient in it is the fruit and no other additives. Sometimes companies will add citric acid or even sugar.
  • If you are making it for kids, it is fun to use a little mold. This is the one we use. My kids think they are special fruit snacks for them!

Substitutions

  • If you do not want to use honey, you can also use organic maple syrup. I usually use raw honey though because there are more health benefits to raw honey then maple syrup.
  • Use any type of juice you would like; however, I like orange juice to help boost the immune system.
